dreamy weekend, dreamy breakies

Gluten free bread, who knew?  For all of my snarking about the gluten free thing -- which honestly I only snark about because I am still recovering from the extended fuss of being vegan for 8 years, Udi's gluten free NOT bad at all.

But honestly, really, what wouldn't be delicious topped with the amazing guacamole that Heather makes, pretty much all of my favorite foods in one bowl: avocado, tomato, mango, cilantro, peppers, red onion, so ridiculously good that we saved the left-overs from last night's appetizer feast in order to pile them on toast.

Really the most fitting final meal to cap a weekend away with girlfriends at Tahoe.  We ate so well, everyone bringing whatever they wanted, no plan, every single thing delicious, so much inspiration for how to eat better every single day after this.  I'm definitely sad that this weekend, which only happens once a year, is already finished for 2012, not to come again until 13.

But until then, I'm eating better, promise, especially if it means a colorful bowl of dream.
